PRIMARY AND SECONDARY CLARIFIERS
Primary & Secondary Clarifiers are designed to remove solids scum from waste water. SHREE Process develops robust, low wear scraper technologies for the removal of sediments in circular tanks, which are suitable for a wide range of installation conditions and process requirements.
The sludge is removed by blades or suction pipes, while scum is removed from the surface of the clarifiers. The scrapers move at a very low velocity, to avoid a renewed disturbance of the sediment from the bottom of the tank.
Mechanical Clarifiers in the activated sludge process serve a dual purpose. First to provide a clarified effluent and second to provide concentrated source of return sludge for maintaining process control, removing sediment, turbidity and floating material from wastewater. Adequate area and depth is essential to allow the aeration tank effluent (MLSS) to settle and compact without carryover of solids in the clarified effluent.

CLARIFLOCCULATOR – CENTRAL DRIVE
- Designs upto 30M diameter (Full Bridge)
- Central Driven with Independent Flocculator Drives
- Fixed Bridge spanning full / half tank diameter. Rake arms spanning the full tank diameter
- Centrally driven rake arms through rugged drive head
- Designs with 2/4 Floc Paddles with independent drives
- Surface skimmer, Rake lifting manual/automatic (Optional)
CLARIFLOCCULATOR – PERIPHERAL DRIVE UNIT
- Designs upto 30M diameter (Full Bridge) and upto 70M diameter (Half Bridge)
- Peripheral drive designs with Rubber / PU tyred wheels running on concrete wall/Steel wheels running on rails
- Lamella / Tube Settler options available for high rate
- Clariflocculator design with 2/4 Flocculation paddles Rake arms suspended from the bridge
- Surface skimmer (Optional)
